Fast Food Cashier (2007)

I witness the Great Nugget Fight of ’07.

From my perch against the cashier’s counter, I watch as a customer takes a nugget hit to the chest and two of our finest are terminated on the spot from their burger building posts.

The manager—exasperated by this chaotic turn of events—spots me looking on in amusement, and imparts a universal fast food truth through gritted teeth…

It is 2007, and I have learned my first lesson in time management.
